These images were taken for a 12-part series on faith communities for the La Jolla Light.  This series not only won first place for Best Non-Daily Newspaper Series at the San Diego Press Club's 2015 Excellence in Journalism Awards, it won Best of Show out of 33 non-daily newspaper categories at those awards.
